  As the spread of the novel corona virus increases, more and more people are working hard to keep themselves clean and free of germs.  People also know that their smartphones and a few other devices can be infected with germs, and these gadgets need to be cleaned frequently.


  How worried should you be about spreading a virus like Covid 19 to your trusted smartphone?

   Antiseptic wipes are perfect for this job.

  Studies show that Covid 19 can survive on the glass screen surfaces of your smartphone for a few hours to a week.

  Using 70% Isopropyl alcohol or chlorox disinfecting wipes, you can gently clean the outer surfaces of your iPhone.

  "Don't use bleach and don't immerse your phone in any cleaning agents."

 Other chemicals like chlorine and bleach are very harsh and can severely damage your screen.


  Can cleaning damage your phone?  Yes only when you are obsessively rubbing your screen in an attempt to clean your phone.

  Instead of washing or cleaning your phone make a habit of washing your hands regularly with a soap for at least 20 seconds

  Experts say that if you do not follow the rules of hygiene, it will not make much difference to keep your phone clean.  So wash your hands regularly and do not touch your face.

   UV light has been effective against some other viruses, but we still don't know how it affects Covid 19.

  These gadgets are quite expensive and cheap alcohol wipes can do the job well so why use expensive UV lights??
