 The coronavirus has caused a great deal of panic among the people. Vita is derived from the English word vital which means important or necessary, while amine refers to chemical compounds, which are extremely important for life. The composition of these chemical compounds is complex and they are needed by the body in small quantities, but they are so important and necessary for life that their deficiency and absence can affect our health.  Large amounts of vitamins are obtained from plant and animal sources. Botanical sources include green leafy vegetables, root vegetables, pulses, lentils, beans, nuts and whole grains, while animal sources include liver, kidneys, meat, and fish, as well as milk, eggs, and dairy products. Lack of any of these vitamins can lead to diseases.
